The Alliance Spirit Run

Following last year's successful event, the Alliance Spirit Ultramarathon and Fun Run takes place this year on May 17th, 2014.

Together the runners will pass along 100 kilometers (62 miles) of the Lines of Torres Vedras' history, following a route from Lisbon to Mafra across the most emblematic sites that were important points of support in the three defensive lines of Lisbon. The run takes place along the paths that armies and couriers used two centuries ago.

The course  can be completed in its entirety or in sections that each person chooses, to take part in our company, with family or friends.
